It seems that lately, most of our "plans" have fallen through. We were not able to go to my grandparent's for Easter. We also decided that it was best not to go to church on Sunday morning, and just to go hang out with Mark's family nearby that afternoon (where there were lots of hands to help with Ashlynn and comfy couches for me to rest on.)
Even though the focus for our family is not on candy, bunnies and eggs, I do like to take the chance to gift them all with something special (This is def. one of my love languages!)
A quick family picture:
And a little "outtake"!
Miss Priss in her sweet dress!
Ashylnn got spoiled by everyone that day!
We met up with Mark's family at the Hupp's (his second family). We all enjoyed a brunch style meal and some sports watching!
Sorry Uncle Mike....but this is the only picture I snapped of you!
Ashlynn took a nap with Grandma...
And then continued it on a nice long walk!
I was sad that we were not able to go to church as a family, but am so thankful that the message of the cross does not stay inside of the walls of the church. Our prayer is that our girls will grow up knowing the joy and importance of Easter, and that it will mean as much to them as it does to us.
