We have so much to be thankful for this year.
I am thankful first and foremost for my salvation. For my husband, who has been my rock this year, for friends and family- old and new, near and far and for the Lord's provision in many ways.
As I was thinking of what I was "thankful" for, I had to pause. 8 sweet faces snuck into my head. I think back to where they were last year, and how their lives have changed in 12 months. I wonder what they were "thankful" for this Thanksgiving. You may not know them, or know their story, but they changed my life forever. They taught me what true joy is. The small peek I had into their life taught me to be grateful for all that the Lord has blessed me with, through the good and bad times.
This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for those 8 faces. And for all of the other faces they represent. And for what they have taught me about "Thanksgiving".
