Last week, we headed out with friends to enjoy the gorgeous tulips blooming at the Arboretum. In true mom fashion, we dressed our kiddos up and tried to snap a few pictures. A certain toddler, who shall remain unnamed, did NOT want to be photographed. Thankfully, I caught a few "in action" shots!

Happy 11 Months Bailey!
Bailey girl,
You are 11 months old! That just does not seem possible. You are such a ray of sunshine in our lives. Your smile and sweet spirit are infectious.
We will go to the doctor next month and find out your stats. You are wearing size 12-18 month clothes, and size 3-4 shoes. You wear size 3 diapers. You are sleeping through the night (except to eat around 4 or 5 some days)!! You are taking 3-4 7 oz. bottles, and we be switching to whole milk starting today. You eat 3 meals and LOVE food. You will eat more than your sister sometimes! Some favorite foods are: puffs, sausage (and really all meat), edamame, egg whites, and toast. You have finally figured out how to work the sippy cup, too!
You are mobile! You are not walking yet, but you have started to let go while standing and try to stand on your own. You will also walk around while holding onto furniture. You crawl a little funny, because of our slick floors. You only put 1 knee on the ground. If you want to take something (toy, bottle, etc) with you, you will put it in your mouth and then crawl. When you want something, you can crawl really fast to get it. You will crawl to one of us, and throw your hands up in the air to be held.
You are a lounger. You love to cuddle or lay back all comfy! You are also a smiler. You have such a sweet smile. We have not had to worry too much about baby proofing for you. The only think you seem to want to get into is my nightstand. If you grab something you shouldn't, I will say "no, no" and then you giggle and put it down. It is pretty cute!
This month, you have gotten great at using your hands for things. You will wave, you play peek-a-boo and you will hit your hand against your mouth to make a-a-a-a sounds. You will also pick up anything that looks like a phone and babble into it.
You are not as big of a talker as your sister was, but you have a few words in your vocabulary! You say:
Mama
Dada
Hi
Bye
Yay
Mo/Mmmm (More)
Your sister is your best friend. You will follow her around all day trying to keep up with her. Most of the time she loves that, but sometimes she thinks you are crowding her space :) You love your daddy too! When he comes home from work, you will smile and crinkle up your little nose!
You love the outside. Even if it is cold or windy, you want to be outside. You will try to eat dirt though, which mommy thinks is gross! You also LOVE music! If you are upset, I can sign to you and you will immediately calm down. Whenever a song comes on, you will dance and clap! You will also throw your hands up in the air and wave them with the music.
In your crib, you sleep on your tummy. If we are holding you or in your carseat, you will sleep with your feet propped up, and your hands behind your head. You sometimes take 2 short naps a day, but are working towards taking 1 long afternoon nap.
You do not have as much hair as your sister did at this age. We still cannot tell if it will be curly or straight. You have 8 teeth, and are working on the next 2!
Bay-Bay,Bay-boo, Boo-Boo, Bailey….
We love you so much precious girl! We pray that the Lord would mold your sweet spirit into one that brings Him glory, and that He would save you young. We cannot wait to see what changes come with turning 1 next month!
We love you,
Mommy and Daddy (and sister too!)

The in between
These past few weeks have been busy to the max. We have had something going on almost every day. Here are some pictures of those "in-between the busy" moments.

A girl and her dog...
Shopping for….Bailey?!

Holding hands with mama during a great car nap.
Picnic with friends (of many ages!)
A first snow cone

Beautiful days spent with family
Flowers in the hair…errrr…ear!
Helping Gaga recover from her "boo-boo". "Nuddles" are the best medicine!
A snack that Ashlynn prepared just for Bailey!
Morning fun with dada!
Thankful for these sweet, silly, cuddly, and heart warming "in-betweens!"

Life & Love
This was another great weekend!
Friday, Lianna came over to drop some stuff off and get some kisses from the girls.

On Saturday morning, we got the chance to walk in the "Choose Life" 5k. The funds went to support local Pregnancy Centers. It is such a joy to be able to serve the body in so many different ways.
My mom and I walked with the girls, Mark ran/walked, and Arthur ran.
Afterwards, we got to check out some fun events that they had going on. It was pretty crowded, so we headed out to get some brunch on a beautiful day.
The girls headed home with their Gaga and Gator, and Mark and I got the chance to have a double date with some friends. Italian food and Emporium Pies were the perfect ways to break my healthy eating ;)
The girls had a blast too :)
Today, we had a (much needed) new bed delivered. We spent the morning putting our old bed into Ashlynn's room and redoing some of the girl's rooms. Our beautiful weather turned dreary (sleeting) and cold (23 degrees!), so we have enjoyed being warm and cozy inside!

A hint of spring
Spring keeps teasing us this year. Days of cold will be followed by a blip of 80 degree days, only to be followed up again by freezing.
Yesterday, we got a hint of spring, so we played outside on a blanket, watching airplanes and eating pretend cookies! While we were playing, I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures.
