I haven't written to much lately b/c I have been spending a lot of time up at the hospital with my Granny. She had surgery last Tues. and is just having a really tough time recovering.
If you think of it, would you say a prayer for her, and my Bampa as he is taking care of her.

When it rains....
...it pours!
Whew-it has been one crazy weekend! Friday I took my car in for some work, and found out it was not driveable until they replaced a certain part-that they had to order!
My sweet husband drove over an hour to pick me up from the dealership. When we were leaving, we heard a loud "POP!" His clutch pedal broke. GREAT! Fortunately he was able to make it to his dealership and we were not in the middle of the highway or anything!
So now, both of our cars are being repaired, and we have a rental. Hopefully after this ordeal, we will be car-trouble free!
Thankfully, in the midst of the bad, we have had some good! We got to swim with this sweet girl last Thursday:
Hang out with this kid on Saturday:
And this week I get to see these people:
I am very thankful for so many blessings to get us through the stressful times!

Easy as 1,2,3!
Mark and I found an awesome website today that I wanted to pass along!

The website is set up to give you menus for 5 nights of the week, based on size of family, type of diet (Weight Watchers, Low Fat or just regular food), and based on the sales of your local store (I choose Walmart). They print you out a super easy grocery list, and the recipes look delicious!
For 2 people and 5 days, I got groceries for $35! Plus they are all healthy, which is a big thing around our household these days!
Tonight we had Chicken Dijon....I am excited to try the rest of this weeks recipes!

Blessed
I love my job. Ministering to others ministers to me in so many ways.
For the past 2 weeks and for the next 2 weeks, our church is hosting Block Parties for communities in the area where our church is located. I feel so blessed to be apart of a church that desires to go out and reach people where they are, and just to love on them with no strings attached. What better way to show them the love of the Father!
In the past 2 weeks, we have seen over 20 come to know the Lord!! I am so excited to see the impact that these block parties are having!! Yesterday, I got the chance to love on kids at church whose families found about us through the block parties!
CAN'T WAIT till next week!

Prayer Request
Could yall pray for something for me?
I talked to my best friend this morning and she asked me to pray for her grandma (Dad's mom) who was in ICU. Last week she was told she and viral meningitis. Now they think that she may have staph in her blood stream, and she is on oxygen. They really do not know what all is wrong with her, and are not sure if she is going to make it.
Well, this afternoon my friend called her mom to check on her grandma, and found out that her grandpa (Mom's dad) had passed away.
My friend is headed home now to be with her family. Would you please lift up the entire family in your prayers as they deal with the loss of her grandpa. They do know that her grandfather was saved just a few years ago (at seventy), so he is at home with the Lord now. Praise the Lord for that! Please also pray for her grandma and her health.
