A weekend with Papa and Nonnie

A few weeks ago, Papa and Nonnie had the girls over for a sleepover weekend! Mark and I had friends over, and went out for a date night/friends birthday while they were gone.

On Friday night, the girls got to go to Bass Pro and see the animals.  This picture makes me laugh, because the last time we were there, and took a similar picture of Ashlynn and Papa was on the day I walked Bailey out and started labor with her!

On Saturday, they got to go to a Christmas Market. Ashlynn was SO proud to ride the ponies.

I love the train my dad has going here with their leash-packs!

On Sunday, they played around the house. Ashlynn calls this her "Christmas tree dress"!

Thanks for such a fun weekend, Papa and Nonnie (for the girls and for their parents!)!!

Cookies with Grandma & Grandpa

Last year, we also started the fun Christmas tradition of baking and decorating cookies with Grandma and Grandpa! 

The girls got to wear these sweet aprons that my great-grandmother made for my mom when she was little.

Ashlynn helped Grandma roll out the dough,

while sister stacked sprinkles!

She then helped cut out the star shapes,

while sister played ponies with grandpa!

Next up was icing and sprinkles.

and a little more icing, and a little more sprinkles!

The girls had such a fun day that they crashed once their pajamas were on!

Santa 2014

Last year we started the fun tradition of going to see Santa with my mom! This year we took the girls to see him in a "Frozen Winterland". The snow globe was probably their favorite part :)

I loved that we also got this sweet picture!

Ash was NOT a fan of Santa, and Bailey girl was her always skeptical self!

After lunch, we met Mark for lunch. The girls loved the surprise of seeing their daddy!

Our next stop was the Northpark Mall.  I knew Ashlynn would love the trains and other decor.

Gaga was a trooper and wore Bailey almost the whole time!!

Last year, Ashlynn got Starbucks for the first time after her Santa trip, so we decided to keep the tradition of that.

We had SUCH a fun "girly" day!! I am thankful that my mom tagged along for the Christmas fun :)

A couple of days later, we got to see Gaga and Gator again, this time for a lazy day at their house, and a little Christmas shopping!

Mark's Birthday

Mark's birthday celebrations did not end with a  surprise party! We spent the weekend of his actual birthday continuing the fun!

On Saturday, we grilled out with the Sangenito clan to celebrate Mark and Mike's birthdays!

On Sunday (his actual birthday), we headed out to lunch with friends for some delicious home cooking!
