Yep. This post deserves a corny title. I am SO over the snow/ice here in Texas. I know my friends elsewhere will laugh at this-but most of you know the ice skating rink that our roads become.
Last week we had snow/ice days Monday-Wednesday, and Friday-Saturday. Add in the stomach bug that we had on Thursday, and it was a l-o-n-g week!
Alas, here are a few cute pictures of the few moments we did run outside to play!
The excitement was real on snow day 1! (It was all ice, but we pretended!)
A picture of the girls was even tweeted by the local news station!
After that, we spent a LOT of time cuddling and watching too much tv!
And we may have taken a few selfies as well ;)
The next day there was real snow. We made a snowman (and ate him!)
Followed by...more cuddles of course!
We went to my moms Thursday night. My stepdad watched the girls while my mom and I went to a consignment sale. We were not expecting bad weather, and intended to go to Arlington to see Mark's family on Friday. The weather ended up getting bad pretty quickly. We ended up staying at my moms until lunchtime Saturday when we could safely drive home!
Gator played Hungry Hippos for a while!
Gaga made the girls "snow" cones and they loved them!
Now that it is March, I thought we would for sure be past winter weather...but now they are saying there may be another round coming tomorrow. Crossing my fingers that it is nothing!
