In September, Gaga took the girls and me to Kansas City to visit Uncle Duty! It was SUCH a fun trip, and we were sad Alicia couldn't be there. Mark even got to fly up for the weekend and join us!
This was the first plane trip that the girls could remember. They were SO excited!

They were even more excited when Uncle Duty and Alicia got home!
The next day was Shane's birthday! We spent the morning being lazy, and then had a birthday lunch with him!
While he went back to work, we headed to check out Science City. It was an incredible museum for kids!
That night, we had dinner out on a patio, and celebrated with a little "party!" Ashlynn captioned the cake for us haha.
The next morning, Shane was off of work , so we walked to a local bakery for "Donut Friday".
We then hung out for a while until Mark flew in.
That afternoon, we did lunch, and then rode the street car around town, and stopped at the end to walk around and check out the market.
That night, we enjoyed dinner at a local pizza joint and then sat around the fire relaxing!
On Saturday, we ate breakfast and then went to a local Children's Farm. It was a beautiful day, and the farm was a great experience!
That night, we had to check out local BBQ and it was delicious!
The next morning, we hit up a local waffle truck for a yummy breakfast.
We spent some time relaxing, and Mark had to leave to fly back home :(
For dinner, we went to one last KC restaurant.
We woke up the next morning and had brunch before getting packed up and heading home. It was SUCH a great trip...one that the girls still talk about now (since I am finally finishing this post in DECEMBER!!) They can't wait to go visit their Uncle Duty and "Auntie Licia" again soon!
