Independence Day 2016

We started out the weekend of the 4th with a home group date night! We met up for Mediterranean food, and then went to a "Free Play" arcade!

The girlies enjoyed time with Grammy and Grandpa while we were out adulating.

They crafted, and took the train to see airplanes at Southwest.

On Saturday, we picked them up and met up with Papa and Nonnie.

The plan was to enjoy "Light up Arlington", but with 100 degree temps, a new puppy, and sleeping kids, we just decided to head back to dads house for dinner and fun in the backyard.

These two decided to nap a little more ;)

We then headed out at dark to watch fireworks!

On Monday, we played with friends and enjoyed pizza, and got to catch another fireworks show on our way home!

Fathers Day 2016

We had a low key, family filled Father's Day weekend.

Mike and "Hannah-burger" were in town, so we all met up for dinner!

On Sunday we cuddled and played "jump on daddy"

And then Papa and Nonnie joined us for dinner (and a nail spa!)

The best way to end Father's Day? Cuddles with dad of course!

The One Where Uncle Duty Gets Married!

I am not sure how my baby brother is old enough to be married, but he found (and kept) an amazing girl-and we are so excited to watch them grow in the Lord together as husband and wife.

Wedding weekend started out with rehearsal, and dinner afterwards.

On Friday, mom and I headed to decorate for the rehearsal dinner! It was such a beautiful evening of celebrating the couple and family.

Saturday morning, we had breakfast and then headed to get all dolled up!

The weather was a little touch and go, but the Lord was so sweet in stopping the rain right before the ceremony!

This little gal would NOT nap

Her sister did. But MELTED down when I tried to wake her up for pictures. {lesson learned!}

They both had fun playing with grandpa before the wedding!

And Ashlynn helped Papa and Alicia get ready!

I managed to make it down the aisle without tripping!

And we could not have been prouder of these two. They were pretty nervous about being flower girls, but took their job of announcing Alicia pretty seriously.

After sweaty pictures, we ate and danced the night away! Bailey surprised us all, and danced in the middle of the crowd all night long! Her sister was asleep in the corner at this point!

And gaga was being...gaga!

It truly was a beautiful night!

And ended with a "bang!"
