Children's Museum

Before the great cold of 2014 and after the great stomach bug of 2014, we took a trip the the Children's Museum with Mark's mom. We had such a blast, and ended up getting a membership! We are excited about many trips in the future.

New Years 2013

For New Years, we drove down to Austin to visit the Hadleys! Our friend Amy rode down with us, and Hailey and her kiddos met us there.

On Friday night, us girls went to see the Hunger Games while the boys watched the babes. Poor B didn't feel good all night, and screamed for her daddy.

The next morning, she was a little better!

While Hailey and I shopped for New Year's food, Mark and Darby played with the big girls!

We rung in 2014 with yummy fajitas, sweet friends, and baby girls who stayed up way too late!

All of my loves cuddling!

Sweet friends!
We had a cookie cake, and the girls loved the special treat, maybe a little too much!

Being spoiled a little by Aunt Tonya and Uncle Darby!
This is what happened when we put the cake up though…New Years Meltdown!

We spent New Year's Day being ultra lazy!

Addi and Ashlynn got into a few messes together! They managed to throw most of the toys over the balcony without anyone noticing!

That night, we headed home. We spent the first few days of 2014 holed in the house because Bailey ended up with a stomach bug :/

Christmas Part 4

Whew…this is the last of the Christmas updates. We had a crazy busy week, but were so blessed by time with family, and time sharing the story of Christ's birth with our tiny tots.

Our last Christmas celebration was with Mark's family.  Sadly, his brother Mike got the flu the day before our celebration. It had been his idea to have a "Big Fat Italian Christmas".

We had yummy chicken parm, artichokes and dip (made my my hubs!), salad, tiramasu and canolis!

After dinner, we exchanged presents and enjoyed time relaxing with Mark's brothers and parents! It was great to have everyone under the same roof!

As I was working on this post, I realized that the rest of the pictures are on the camera, so I will have to update it soon :)

Christmas Part 3

The few days after Christmas were spent enjoying my brother being in town, spending time with my mom, doing Christmas with my mom/Arthur/Shane and taking another trip to my grandparents!

On Thursday, my brother requested one of our favorite home cooking restaurants for lunch.

After lunch, we did a little last minute Christmas shopping!

That night, we had a yummy Christmas dinner, and exchanged gifts. My phone wasn't working, so I will have to add pictures from the camera of that! Ashlynn got a motorcycle, and was in toddler heaven!

Ashylnn spent that night with my mom, and the next day we headed to my Granny and Bampas.

It was nice to get a little extra cuddle time, and to help them put away their decorations.

Ashlynn also got in all of the "Nane" cuddles that she could before he headed back home.

Christmas Part 2

We spent Christmas Eve at our house, and had our first Christmas morning at home with our little family! Ashlynn was catching on to the present concept, but was more excited about passing out gifts than opening them.

Bailey was all about the wrapping paper!

We tried not to go crazy on the gifts, so each girl got 4 presents and a stocking from us. They also got 1 shared gift: a tent!

Inside her new tent!
After presents were over, Uncle Shane brought us breakfast! Thankfully he found a McDonald's that was open!

After breakfast, we all headed to my Dad and Lianna's. It was a beautiful day, so we spent a lot of time outside.

My dad smoked meat, and we had yummy sides and desserts to go along with it.

Once again, Ashlynn was all about passing out the presents, and not as much about opening them.

Miss Bailey slept through presents. The fun day had worn her out.

Here is a little peek at the amazing present my hubs got me! It is a "Mom" necklace, with my birthstones, and the birthstones of all 3 of our pregnancies. It is such a special and thoughtful gift.
