We enjoyed the celebration of our friends marriage!

Uncle Duty got packages and gave the girls these boxes. They made robot costumes out of them!

It was a privilege to attend dinner and graduation for Alicia as she wrapped up Dental School!

We wrapped up the month with a MUCH NEEDED date night!!

The girls didn't miss us too much! They were spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa!

Springtime in Austin

We took a trip to Austin at the end of April to visit the Hadley's and check out their new house!

We had told the girls that the tv in the new car was just for road trips. They were SO excited to try it out! 

When we arrived, we headed out to dinner with the crew. It is so sweet to see our kiddos becoming friends!

We spent Saturday swimming and being lazy! 

They have a lot of snails-and this nature/creature lover was obsessed!

We had to check out the snow cone stand!

On Sunday we went to the Austin Zoo!

Then it was time to head back home-tv, headphones and all!

April was a BUSY, fun month!

I found my first batch of gray hairs... :/

We enjoyed having Uncle Duty as a roommate and working close by!

I got ambitious and painted a wall in the girls room

We had a wonderful evening celebrating Grandma's birthday!

Miss crazy hair, don't care!

We spent many mornings at the park

Got an ice-cream treat after Bible Study

Took trips to Gaga and Granny's houses!

With a mandatory Texas stop for bluebonnet pictures!

Ashlynn got a reward (mermaid costume) for earning enough stickers from pooping on the potty! 

The girls and Mark got REALLY into this YouTube channel where a guy smashes stuff with a machine

We enjoyed some lazy days

Gaga met us at the mall for a girls day of brunch and shopping!

Grandma Faye and Grandpa Frank sent the girls these "Elsa" capes, and we wore them frequently

I got REALLY ambitious, and redid part of our upstairs bathroom

We enjoyed many trips to the Arboretum.

These two crazies had a sleepover and cold swim at Gaga and Gators...

...while Mama got ear tubes put in...womp womp..

And to wrap up the month-Mark built us an INCREDIBLE planter box so that we could start growing a garden!
