Father's Day 2015

Father's Day was so much fun this year! (I hope Mark feels the same!!)

The girls made him cards. Ash wrote "Daddy" for the first time on her own!

My dad and Lianna came over, and we grilled out.

Afterwards, we all loaded up and went to a Roughriders game. It was such a good experience. The girls loved the lawn seating, the weather was nice, and it was very relaxing.

We are so lucky to have Mark as the head of our little family. He encourages, laughs with and leads these girls in such a wise and loving way.

We are also beyond blessed with all of the dads, step-dads, and grandpas that we have between our two families.

And...on to June!

There are not many pictures from June. We spent most of this month at the Aquatic center, splash pads, or swimming in pools!

Ashlynn started drawing people, and she made a "family portrait"

Sisters headed to church:

A girl and her dog.

Speaking of dogs...every time we are at Target, we have to take a picture with Spot.

Ashlynn did story time at the library this summer. She LOVED it! Bailey and I also enjoyed a little one on one time reading and playing.

Here is exhibit A of our summer of swimming!

We also enjoyed watching Mark play softball.

Ashlynn...my little mini me!

Here is our annual "Have fun at the beach, we are coming with you!" picture to Gaga and Gator :)

Ashlynn became a fan of puppet shows at story time, and started putting on shows for us

The girls enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa!

This month can be marked down as the milestone of when the girls FINALLY started sharing a room and enjoying it!

Wedding Fun

In April, some of our good friends got married, and we made a date weekend out of the fun!

Mark surprise me with a fun dinner, and a hotel downtown. It was so relaxing, and I was so thankful he went to the effort!

The wedding was at the Arboretum and was beautiful. Pending rain held off, and we had a great time enjoying our sweet friends!

The girls had such a fun time at Gaga's house while we were gone!

May Happenings

May brought swimming, trips, and general "summer, but not deathly hot" Texas fun!

This girl. Sassy and spunky!

I took a weekend trip with friends to Canton!

Sister slumbers.

Miss B became a little gymnast!

Mama is still loving the short hair!

We had our friend Addi over, and the girls had a pretend wedding!

We also forayed into the world of Daddy playing softball!

Who needs a splash pad when mama has a waterhose!

The girls got haircuts. Ash requested a "Rapunzel" cut. AKA-cut it all off.

We celebrated Memorial Day with our home group!

And enjoyed a a dinner with Papa and Nonnie.

The splash pad opened!

Mark and I got a date night with friends!

The girls had "parties" at Papa and Nonnies

And we rounded off the month with lunch, ice cream, and flowers!
