HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY ASHLYNN!

Ashlynn,

I am not sure how, but you are FOUR! You are not longer a toddler-but a full blown little person! Three was a hard year-the threenager in you came out in full force. But it was also full of a lot of growth and change for you-and we are so proud and thankful for each day with you!

We went to the doctor for your 4 year checkup. You were NOT happy about shots, but did great with your hearing and vision tests!  You are healthy-such a blessing from the Lord!

You weight 42 lbs, and are 3.5 feet tall!

You are wearing girls size XS-S clothes (!!) and size 11-12 shoes. As of your fourth birthday you are in panties full time-even at bedtime!

Here are this years answers to the questions I asked you last year:

What is your name? Ashlynn Marie Sangenito 

How old are you? 4 (You stuck up 4 fingers in my face and wouldn't talk!)

What is your favorite thing to do? Play with my friends and have some fun

What do you want to be when you grow up? A teacher for elephants (A trainer at the zoo)

What is your favorite food? Hamburgers (Plain and dry! You also love popcorn.)

What are you scared of? Monsters 

Who is your best friend? Bailey, and Addie and Elliot. And all my friends.

What is your favorite song? Elsa (Yep..still...!)

What is your favorite color? Pink, purple and blue (Or anything rainbow!) 

What is your favorite thing to watch? Frozen (Also Julius Jr., Strawberry Shortcake, Tinkerbell and any princess movie)

Who is in our family? Daddy, Zeusy-fat, Mama, me and Bailey and Mistah Blue (I had to repeat this question 5 times. Your answer the first 4 times was just "Daddy"!)

What do you like to do outside? Play! (You love slides and climbing, as well as running. You insist on wearing your running shoes most days in case you need to be fast!)

What is your favorite place to go? Gaga and Grandma and Papas house! (So true! You also love going to the library, Target and bible study)

What is your favorite toy? My animals (You LOVE your cow, frog, bubble puppy, puppy, panda, and coqui frog and sleep with them all each night!)

You can:

Count to 60 in English, 10 in Spanish

Write your name, and about 5-10 other words

Do simple addition (Anything 1-5 added to anything 1-5)

Identify and name all letters, colors, shapes

Make up songs (that are SO random!)

You are the spunkiest, most kind hearted little girl.  You laugh at SO much, and make us laugh so often.  You already have a heart for the Lord, and we are praying that He continues to develop this.  One day, you and your sister were fighting. You walked outside and started praying. I asked you why you went outside, and you said so that you could see God. You often ask me things about God, heaven, or Jesus.  You also pray for others often, and it is so precious to hear. 

You have a stubborn streak like no other, and the sass has started to come out at times.  You are the sweetest, most selfless big sister 90% of the time (The other 10% is full of some crazy girl fights!).  You love "your people" fiercely.

Sweet Ashlynn, we love you to the moon and back. The Lord blessed us in ways we never could have imagined 4 years ago, and we look forward to each day that He allows us to parent you.
