This past weekend, we had Bailey's 1st birthday party! Her birthday is on Easter, so we celebrated a week early.
Her party didn't have a theme per say, it was just sweet, simple and girly...just like her!
We had the party mid-morning, and served fruits, veggies, cheese, chicken salad with croissants, and cupcakes.
We had a few "adventures" the day before the party. Our cupcakes/smash cake got a little messed up, so we had to buy pre made ones (which was a-ok and turned out great!) Our balloons also deflated before the party, but the store was kind enough to let us pick up new ones.
To say that Bailey was a fan of her smash cake would be an understatement. She LOVED it. By the end, she had it in her ears, her eyes, and all over her face!
Big Sister had a blast at the party as well. She kept saying "Happy Birfday Bay-Bay!"
She was even kind enough to help Bailey open up her gifts ;)
We were so thankful for everyone who came! As usual, I did not snap a picture of everyone that I wanted to.
My favorite guest was this guy...He drove up from CS to surprise me. I may have shed a few tears when he walked in the door!
We spent time playing on Bailey's new slide, and outside on the girls motorcycles.
Somehow we didn't get a family picture of the 4 of us! We are so thankful that we had a chance to celebrate the life and 1st year of Miss Bailey!
