Ashlynn-isms

Life has been CRAZY in these parts...and will be that way for the next few weeks (at least!) So until I have time to catch up on B's 4 month post, and a few other fun things....here are a few Ashlynn-isms that I don't want to forget!

One day, we decided to try the whole "1...2...3..." method before putting Ashlynn in time-out.  Mark looked at her and said, "Ashlynn, 1....2..." and before he could say "3", she got a huge grin and spouted out "Tree...!" Needless to say, we can't use the "1,2,3" without laughing, therefore it is pretty useless!

We were on a trip this past weekend. One morning, while I was getting ready, Ashlynn burped. She then looked at me and said "I burp!" and giggled!

We have been using Go0gle talk to video chat with my mom. It has a little feature where you can play noises. One day, my mom played the "ta-da" noise. Mark chimed in with "GaGa!" right afterwards. This went on a few times. Now, anytime we play/make that noise, Ashlynn will go "GaGa!"

Ashlynn is a talker. She comes by it naturally! Here are a few fun words we are saying right now

Ticken~ Chicken

Gulk~ Milk

Bah-ul~ Bottle

Noodles~ Doodles

Ticker~ Sticker

Cah~ Car

Muhkee~ Monkey

Cycle~ Motorcycle

Bubble Guppies~ Buppies

We have also entered the "mine" phase. So it is "love me" instead of "love you" and she will say things are "my".

If Ashlynn knows that someone is sleeping, she will point and then say "shhh!" with her finger to her mouth. If you ask her to whisper, she says "whipper!" in a teeny little voice. She also did this all weekend to a picture of Tadpole (a dog) sleeping.
